Child Parent Psychotherapy

Many children experience stressors starting early on in their life–whether it be parents’ conflict, divorce, separation from a caregiver, parental mental health struggles, abuse, neglect, or medical challenges. For children ages 0-5 years old, I utilize Child Parent Psychotherapy to address behaviors and emotions resulting from life stressors or trauma.

I will engage with the child and a primary caregiver in each session to explore attachment, healthy emotional expression, coping techniques, and stress or trauma processing. We will work together to understand the meaning behind your child’s behavior, and I will support you in navigating your response to behaviors. We will focus on growing a strong caregiver-child relationship to serve as the foundation of healing and growth for a child.
