Reflective Supervision

Reflective Supervision and Consultation is a type of supervision that is utilized for people working with children ages 0-5. This work can often be intense and emotionally evocative. Reflective supervision is a unique type of supervision that provides the professional with a chance to slow down, reflect on, and consider the meaning behind different parts of their work. Not only does this type of supervision help professionals manage burnout and provide emotional support to the supervisee, it also increases the supervisee’s own self-awareness and reflective capacity. Additionally, it is required for professionals seeking Infant and/or Early Childhood Mental Health Endorsement through the Association of Mental Health (AIMHi). As an Endorsed Infant Mental Health Specialist, I currently can provide Reflective Supervision for professionals seeking the Infant and/or Early Childhood Mental Health Endorsement.
